This property at 20 The Promontory, Noosa Waters, is on the market for $6.2m.

FOOTBALLER turned baker Damian Obst has put his waterfront Noosa pad in Queensland’s top street on the market with a $6.2m price tag.

Obst brought his famous Adelaide bakery to Noosa in the form of The Bakers Pantry during the pandemic and it has proved to be almost as popular as his home is.

Inquiries are flooding in for the property, and it’s not wonder given this view.

Inquiries are flooding in for the four-bedroom, four-bathroom, Hamptons-style house at 20 The Promontory, Noosa Waters, according to marketing agent Adrian Reed of Reed & Co Estate Agents.

Mr Reed said buyers were gravitating towards completed homes as the cost of building increased and they became more reluctant to take on a renovation.

The property is a classic Hamptons style with outdoor living a priority.

“The Hamptons style resonates with a lot of people as it is timeless and elegant,” Mr Reed said.

“This home has a strong focus on outdoor living that overlooks the waterfront, plus a well positioned courtyard pool, ideal for the Noosa climate.”

The pool is a major feature of the property.

Public property records show Mr Obst and his business and life partner, Kate Reynolds, paid $1.75m for the home in 2017 and have since undertaken a major renovation.

The home sits on a 772 sqm block with a 19.5m water frontage.

The home has been renovated to the highest standard.

Features include a private jetty, cascading sun decks, an alfresco dining area overlooking the water, a heated pool, two living rooms featuring fireplaces, and an enviable location, being within walking distance of the Noosaville shopping precinct.

The classic Hamptons-style kitchen includes marble benchtops and splashbacks, Ralph Lauren pendant lighting, Smeg appliances, an integrated Sub-Zero fridge and a butler’s pantry.

All four bedrooms have ensuites and three have walk-in robes.
