A LIFESTYLE acreage in the north of Tasmania has sold for a cracking price.

Per realestate.com.au, No.33 Hull Street, Leith was Tassie’s top sale of the past week.

It fetched $1.555m, the second highest price on record for this semirural locality, per REA.

The deal was sealed by One Agency Collins senior consultant Leigh Jordan, who described the property as “gorgeous”.

“It is an absolute stunner,” Mr Jordan said.

“That sort of area of Leith is highly sought after and tightly held.”

Mr Jordan said the mix of land and water views were attractive to buyers.

“No.33 Hull is privately positioned in a quiet, dead end street. The house is absolutely top quality and the views are incredible,” he said.

In a multi-level home of many intriguing features, the property’s custom-designed skylight above the stairwell grabs the eye quickly.

Mr Jordan said the architect who designed the house wanted to let light in, but also create a unique talking point.

No.33 is set on 1.3ha of land, positioned between Turners Beach and Devonport.

The four-bedroom three-bathroom home has exposed cathedral ceilings, exposed timber beams, floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple living areas and a well-sized, stylish kitchen with dark subway tiles and a breakfast bar.

On the third level, the master bedroom suite has got it all including a large walk-in wardrobe and a modern ensuite with a walk-in shower and double vanity.

Large windows capture the sunset, while a deck provides a luxurious area to enjoy a glass of wine or good book.

Also on this level, the family bathroom offers a large walk-in shower, double vanity and freestanding bath that is framed by ceiling-high tiles.

Mr Jordan said the property buyers were impressed by the sensational views.

“The property sits on the top of a hill, which means you can take in one of the best ocean views from the lounge or family room,” he said.

“There is 30-40m of flat grass, and then it drops away. It reminds me of an infinity pool, it’s an infinity block.”

Mr Jordan said the buyers were located interstate, but their plan was to move south to Tassie.
