It was love at first sight when vendors CherylAnn and Ian bought their Normanville home in 2020, and it is with a heavy heart they now say goodbye to it.

They have decided to sell their home at 7 Union Rd ahead of a big move overseas.

“We had moved back from the US and had been living on our yacht there for the past seven years and we had planned to come home to see our family,” CherylAnn says.

“We were looking for a property, and the sign went up one Tuesday afternoon and I called the agent and he took us through it the next day and we bought it.

“It was exactly what we were looking for.

“Every room has a beautiful view, and the grandkids love it here because it’s so close to the beach and we can walk to Normanville.

“I can see the sea out of the kitchen windows and you can see the rain coming in over the cape.

“Plus it’s a wonderful neighbourhood where everyone gets along – and all just 35 minutes from the Seaford Railway Station.”

It has four bedrooms over the two levels. Picture: supplied.

There are also two bathrooms. Picture: supplied.

It has upstairs and downstairs outdoor areas. Picture: supplied.

The home offers four bedrooms and 312sq m of indoor and outdoor living space over its two storeys, with the heart of the home being an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area opening to a balcony on the upper level, making it an ideal entertainer, CherylAnn says.

Now moving to Belgium, the couple hope another family will enjoy it as they have.

“We’re a little bit adventurous, so we’re excited for the next chapter and a new challenge, but it will be hard to say goodbye to it because it really is the most beautiful home,” she says.

The property will go to auction at 11.30am on October 29.
