How to get Zoltun Kulle’s Journals in Diablo 4

If you are confused about what exactly is happening during the Diablo 4 Season of the Construct and wonder what caused all this ancient mechanic debacle, don’t worry too much. That’s where the “Kulle’s Heart” enters the chat. You see, this seasonal quest will probably answer a couple of questions you may have about the origin of Zoltun Kulle’s constructs and whatever happened with them when Malphas took over, but you will have to gather his journals regarding the matter. Hopefully, they do not have any compromising information, I mean, if a guy’s dead, then do go over his private information! Well, anyway, there’s a total of five different Zoltun Kulle’s journals, and the first two – that are Entries 5 and 3 – are relatively easy to find:

• Zoltun Kulle’s Journal, Entry 5: found in Gatehall, more specifically in the room housing your stash.
• Zoltun Kulle’s Journal, Entry 3: dropped after defeating Malphas during the “The Miracle” quest.

Now, that’s two, where are the other three? Well, you are out of luck – and you will probably need some -since Entries 1, 2, and 4 are inside Wardwoven Chests. These Wardwoven Chests are the ultimate prize for completing Vaults, which are the seasonal Dungeons in the Season of the Construct. To get these, you will need to offer a specific amount of stacks of Zoltun’s Warding. You get these by exchanging Pearls of Warding – dropped by Wardens of Malphas during the Arcane Tremors event – at Statues of Zoltun Kulle’s, right at the Vault entrances. One Pearl grants 10 stacks of Zoltun’s Warding.

Getting hit by traps in Vaults will lower the stacks of Zoltun’s Warding you have with you. The remaining Zoltun Kulle’s journals will randomly drop on Wardwoven Chests, so you might have to complete several Vaults before moving forward.
