On a 910sq m block, the three-bedroom house draws on the California bungalow style, and has been renovated while maintaining its character charm.

“Highly regarded as one of Townsville’s most sought-after positions, Melton Hill is steeped in local history,” the listing by Need Property agents Luke Need and Kya Faust says.

“Home to Townsville’s very first property that was constructed in 1865 for one of the cities earliest residents, John Melton Black.”

Property records show the couple bought the home in December 2019, with Natalia sharing photos of their purchase in January 2020.

She also shared a video showing the pair and some friends, including Cowboys captain and brother-in-law Michael Morgan and his wife Brianna, Natalia’s sister, on the deck.

Natalia Holmes shared a video to her Instagram story of a dinner party with husband Valentine and others including fellow Cowboys player and brother in law Michael Morgan.

Natalia and Brianna run First Base Townsville.

The Melton Hill residence has open plan living spaces with vaulted ceilings, an updated kitchen adjoining the outdoor entertaining areas, a formal patio with views over Cleveland Bay, a huge rear deck with views of the city, Castle Hill and Ross River, airconditioning, solar power, double car accommodation, electric gate and character features throughout.

It sits on a 910sq m block with flat terraced lawns and cottage gardens.

Publicly-available property records show the couple recently purchased another stunning character home in Townsville for $1.405 million.

On a 1518sq m block, that landmark estate was once occupied by the Australian Army in World War II.
