British Airways flights from North America and the Caribbean to the United Kingdom were delayed Monday night due to technical problems of a third-party flight planning supplier.

At least 35 flights from North America and the Caribbean to the U.K. were either cancelled or seriously delayed overnight.

British Airways confirmed that it had delayed flights last night due to a “technical issue” with its flight-planning system.

British Airways issued this statement:

“Our teams have now resolved a temporary issue that affected some of our long-haul flight planning systems overnight, which resulted in delays to our schedule. We’re sorry for the disruption caused to our customers’ travel plans.”
