Warhammer The Old World Orc and Goblin Tribes Will Be the First to Join – and Soon!

Warhammer The Old World Orc and Goblin Tribes should arrive this Spring with some incredible new miniatures and a tendency to go to WAAAGH!

Warhammer The Old World officially releases on January 20^th – which is today! But that’s not the only good news for enthusiasts of the successor of Warhammer Fantasy Battles: Games Workshop revealed a faction roadmap a few days ago, and they showed all of the miniatures coming or returning for the first faction to come after Bretonnia and the Tomb Kings: the Orc and Goblin tribes!

Warhammer The Old World Orc and Goblin Tribes – All of the Reveals

Orc and Goblin Tribes Battalion Box

Similarly to Tomb Kings and Bretonnia, the Orcs and Goblins will also get a new Battalion Box, containing a whopping 73 miniatures:

• 31 Orc Boyz
• 40 Goblins with upgrades
• and 2 Orc Boar Chariots

These plastic minis will provide a perfect basis for any Orc and Goblin army in The Old World, with a plethora of armour options and multiple weapons for both the bigger and smaller greenskins.

Orc and Goblin Tribes Arcane Journal

What is different from the two previous army boxes is the absence of a rulebook or any kind of supporting product. Don’t worry as the Arcane Journal for the faction will be available separately, which comes with 2 Armies of Infamy, the Nomadic Waaagh! and the Troll Horde, as well as extra rules and two new special characters made for The Old World!

The two new miniatures are a Black Orc Warboss and a new named character, the Orc Shaman Ogdruz Swampdigga, both made out of ForgeWorld Resin.

Orc and Goblin Tribes Returning Plastic Miniatures

Among the retro figures reintroduced from WHFB are some of the most iconic Orc and Goblin units, such as:

• Orc Bozy
• Arrer Boyz Mob

• Orc Board Chariots – which are available in the Battalion Box

The Goblin minis will be available a bit later than the Orc, but they will join the Waaagh! all the same.
