US SEC Begins 5 Year Contract To Monitor DeFi Activity with AI and Machine Learning… | Live Cryptocurrency News | Global Crypto Press

The SEC has employed an organization out of California named ‘AnChain AI’ and begun a 5 yr contract reportedly costing $625,000 – with the aim of  implementing higher oversight over the world of decentralized finance platforms (aka DeFi).

Company CEO and co-founder Victor Fang says they “will provide the technology to analyze and track smart contracts”. AnChain AI says their software program makes use of synthetic intelligence and machine studying, and features a software that flags probably suspicious transactions and wallets.

Fang says the large image is to cease “post-incident investigations” by stopping the incidents to start with, which he describes as “defense all the way up the upstream”.
