SparkFun turns 20

SparkFun posted up a 20th Anniversary video with founder / former CEO Nathan Seidle. Congrats on 20 years, SparkFun!

At the 2 min, 57 sec mark, towards the end of the video Nate talks about AI and how “your favorite AI is going to write the code for you” – that’s interesting! We’re trying to see how/what/and if open-source hardware makers will indicate software and hardware that’s made with the assistance of AI in some way, this could be an exciting talk (maybe?) at the open hardware summit – curious to see how SparkFun and others will do this, we have a start we published here, we’re looking for feedback. Before the holidays, I emailed a few open-source organizations to get some input, and post-holiday just posted what we’re up to in the OSHWA forums.
