A Brisbane mega mansion bought sight-unseen by an Aussie expat for almost $10 million in 2020 has been listed for rent for $6000 a week.

The owner of the mansion, called Noir, is listed as Windmill Watchman Pty Ltd, with the sale date recorded as September 30, 2020.

It has been listed for rent three times since the purchase – for $6000 in June 2022, $6500 in October 2022, and most recently at $6000 a week.

The five-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion took two years for Brisbane-based Zephyr Industries to build, and has more than 1000sq m of living space and river and city views.

It is listed for rent with Living Here Cush Partners – Teneriffe.

The all black, five-level trophy home has an 8-car basement plus a single garage and visitor parking on level four, an elevator, a luxurious master suite and a gourmet kitchen with a butlers pantry and cold room.

There is also four external balcony areas plus entertaining zones, Sky-Frame electric doors from Switzerland, two seperate temperature-controlled wine cellars, an office, cinema, gym and sauna.

A kitchenette, bar and a barbecue can be found on the recreation level, and there is also a pool and spa.

The $500 drop in rent comes despite Brisbane’s ongoing rental crisis.

PropTrack’s most recent Rent Report revealed that weekly advertised rents in Brisbane rose 4 per cent in March and 15.56 per cent in 12 months, the highest annual increase nationally.
