The newest season of Rainbow Six Siege is almost upon players. During this most recent Season, players have seen new Operator Ram among several changes and tweaks made in regards to gameplay. For Season 4 there’s a lot planned including more gameplay changes, a new Operator, and a new map. While Operation Deep Freeze for Rainbow Six Siege was supposed to launch on November 28, there has been a change of plans as it’s now delayed.

Rainbow Six Siege Operation Deep Freeze Delayed

Unfortunately, the news is true. As tweeted out by the official Rainbow Six Siege Twitter/X page, Operation Deep Freeze has been postponed by Ubisoft. Many players were excited about this update it makes several tweaks to the gameplay, adds a new operator, a new map, and much more. Along with the statement released, it appears that the reason behind the delay is due to the team wanting to do a bit more testing on a few gameplay mechanics first. Some fans are upset due to the team’s lack of communication since the update was supposed to launch today. As of right now, no new release date has been provided to players.


Rainbow Six Siege Announces New Lair Map

Players have already received an in-depth look at everything that the next season will have to offer. This also includes the new map, Lair. The map itself is to be the lair of an evil villain and has been showcased. Players can expect to play on this map once Operation Deep Freeze launches.
