PUBG New State is the next hot part of the PUBG series and it is coming this year at some point for Android and iOS. However, the PUBG Mobile sequel might be coming sooner than we thought since the PUBG New State alpha test is getting ready to start in the near future.

PUBG New State Alpha Test Revealed

Krafton revealed that the PUBG New State alpha test will be happening very soon, with players being able to register for it in the near future. In just a few days or so, players should be able to sign up for the alpha testing phase and have a chance to check out the upcoming battle royale game early.

New State is a highly anticipated follow-up to PUBG Mobile, so it is understandable that players would want the chance to play the mobile game as soon as possible. Fortunately, with the registrations for the alpha test coming likely in the next several days, that could be sooner than we anticipated.

No exact dates or times were announced for the PUBG New State alpha test, but we presume that this is likely due to the ever-changing environment surrounding development and mobile games. We wouldn’t be surprised if the date was set in stone and then immediately announced.

Furthermore, it is likely that the registrations for the alpha test will come just before the actual test itself. We presume that players will be able to check out the game for the first time and give their impressions of it in the very near future.

Alpha Test Will Only Be in the US

Being among the first in the world to play the PUBG New State alpha would be a great opportunity, but, unfortunately, it is being limited. As usual for early testing for a mobile game, the new battle royale title will only allow for players from a certain region to sign up and check out the alpha.

That region is actually the United States, so Americans will have the chance to participate in the alpha event only. This is a little bit surprising, to say the least, as many early closed testings like this one for mobile games are put in a different region than the US.

Given the sheer number of mobile players who enjoy PUBG Mobile and other similar titles in the US alone, it makes sense to avoid having a test here as it will be quite competitive and there will be some players who are frustrated that they were unable to get into it.

That is why many developers opt to have the test in a less populated region, like Canada or Singapore, in order to control the test better and ensure that it is not overwhelmed by too many players at once. Players in the US who are interested in the alpha should pay attention to social media and get ready to register as soon as the sign ups begin.

Alpha Test Will Likely Be Limited to a Set Number of Users

The PUBG New State alpha will likely be quite popular, especially given that it is taking place here, so it is in your best interests to sign up as soon as possible if you want to take part in it. No further details were shared about the limitations of the alpha, but you can expect only a portion of players to be invited.

Most likely, a set number of users will be invited randomly into the alpha test from among those who register for it. But even if you do not get into the alpha test, there is always the chance that Krafton might extend or expand it, or just host a larger test later on, where more people are allowed in.

In fact, Krafton already made it clear that this PUBG New State alpha test is going to be just the first part of the future plans for the mobile battle royale game. This is only the beginning as there are already plans to expand New State to more players in the world in the future.

No concrete details are available at this time, but there are a few different ways that Krafton could handle this. It could simply hold bigger and more frequent alpha tests after this one, or it could even expand it to a full-on beta test for the entire world.

Could We See a Full Release of New State Soon?

It wouldn’t be surprising to see New State come out in an early access beta version that is still being worked on, but much of the world is able to play it for free at least. Further evidence of this possibly being the case is the fact that players are going to be able to pre-register for the full game itself on the App Store in the near future.

That feature is already available to users on Google Play and it has been like that for a little while now, but that is extending to iOS players in the very near future. That could indicate that the release date for PUBG New State is much closer than we anticipated.

In fact, that is likely the case if it is going to be released in an early beta format, much like its predecessor did. The alpha phase comes before the beta version, and usually tests like these use builds that are already months old at that point, so it is possible that the development is closing in on the beta version at this point in time.

The alpha test might just be there to get feedback from the community about what PUBG New State is doing well, and what it is doing wrong. Then those features and changes could be implemented, if they are simple ones, or scheduled for fixing later on down the road.

Unfortunately, for now, only the Android users in the US will have the chance to participate in the alpha test and give that crucial feedback for New State early. Everyone else will have to wait until more news is shared about this game in the, hopefully, very near future.
