The auction at the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home at 63 Amy St, Hawthorne opened with a strong bid of $4m.

The home located in the river avenues of Hawthorne had four bidders registered to take part in the auction, with nine bids in total.
Property agent Tony O‘Doherty from Belle Property Bulimba said the outcome was positive considering the home was nine years old.
