Pokemon Unite is one of the most surprisingly good games this year, bringing the Pokemon series to the MOBA genre for the first time. With only around 20 Pokemon at launch, players can, fortunately, look forward to more on the way soon if a recent Pokemon Unite leak is to be believed.

Pokemon Unite Leak Reportedly Reveals New Pokemon

The low count of Pokemon is pretty abysmal in the game, with only a handful from the well over 900 Pokemon in the series to date. Fortunately, it looks like there may be hope for this problem as we could see some new Pokemon joining the roster soon.

The possibility of this comes from the Twitter user Eclipse, who came up with some possible data from the Unite game that reveals some previously unknown details. It is worth keeping in mind that these details were revealed from the backend of the beta version.

This was before the title’s official launch, so it is worth mentioning that this information may not be accurate anymore. However, in the backend of the game, the supposed Pokemon Unite leak reportedly reveals some of the new Pokemon coming to the MOBA title soon.

According to these new details in the Pokemon Unite leak, new playable Pokemon are coming soon to the title and other pocket monsters that will not be playable. Presumably, the latter will include NPC monsters that players will fight as bosses or in the wild.

Three New Playable Pokemon Potentially Revealed

At this time, there are three Pokemon that are likely playable that have been revealed. The first of these is the Generation 2 Pokemon Blissey. The evolution of Chansey and the baby Pokemon Happiny, this normal type Pokemon commonly associated with Pokemon Centers, could be playable soon.

This would be a welcome addition as Blissey would be the first playable Generation 2 Pokemon in the game. We noted in the Pokemon that we want to see in the title as every generation except for that one is represented in the roster.

But Blissey is only the first of three playable Pokemon reportedly revealed. The next one is extremely exciting in Sylveon. Thus far in the game, almost all Generation 1 starters are in the title, with Charizard, Venusaur, and Pikachu already in it.

Fortunately, we know that Blastoise is also on the way very soon. That leaves Eevee as the only starter at this time from the first generation that is not featured in the MOBA title. Fortunately, if Sylveon arrives in the game, that will likely take care of that issue.

It will probably start in matches as Eevee and then evolve at a certain level into the fairy-type Pokemon Sylveon. Originally introduced in Generation 6 with the Kalos games, it will join Greninja and Talonflame as one of the few representatives of that generation and the fairy typing.

Last but not least, the final Pokemon that will be coming to the game soon is Greedent. One of the newest Pokemon on the roster was introduced in the latest Sword and Shield games and will likely start as Skwovet before evolving into Greedent in matches at an unspecified level.

There are only two playable Generation 8 Pokemon in the game at this time: Cinderace and Cramorant. The possible release of Greedent in the future would bump that number up to three for the most recent generation of monsters.

At this time, it is unknown what Unite roles these three Pokemon would play in the game, but their names and stats have already been revealed in the backend files. In my personal opinion, I could see Blissey being either a Defender or Supporter, Sylveon being an Attacker or Supporter, and Greedent being a Defender.

Other Pokemon Possibly Leaked for Unite

This would be great for potentially filling out some of the less populated roles in the MOBA game. Given that the names of the moves and some other data are already known about these three leaked Pokemon, it is possible that they are coming out or at least were being developed at one time.

Fortunately, these are not the only Pokemon revealed in this leak since others were also revealed. You can find the full list of the other Pokemon mentioned in the backend below:

Full list of the other Pokemon

Nidoking

Venonat

Tauros

Toxicroak

Carnivine

Joltik

Galvantula

Aegislash

Toxapex

Stufful

Pyukumuku

Articuno

Jirachi

Victini

Xerneas

What is different about these 15 Pokemon is that they are not mentioned to have movesets and stats like the other three previously mentioned. This could indicate that they are not playable, so they could be wild Pokemon and/or bosses that players have to fight.

Or, they might be early on in development as playable Pokemon as it could vary for each one. I could personally see the legendaries at the bottom of the list being bosses while others seem like wild Pokemon, including Stufful, Joltik, and Tauros.

However, some seem like must-haves for playable Pokemon, like Aegislash and Nidoking that would be fantastic additions. Here’s hoping that they will be developed as playable Pokemon in the future to see them in Unite. For now, though, only time will tell as The Pokemon Company has yet to reveal new additions besides Gardevoir, who is already out, and Blastoise, who should be coming soon.
