Pokemon Terapagos Pre Evolution Revealed in New Anime

Pokemon has a lot coming up that will shape the next generation of players. For starters, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were released just a few months ago and recently two new DLC were announced to be coming soon. Also in the anime and manga, the Pokemon company is moving on from Ash Ketchum, for now. The new show, Pokemon Horizons: The Series just launched in Japan and may have leaked something new for the games. It would seem as though the Pokemon Terapagos Pre Evolution was Revealed and here is the latest on it.

The new series focuses on a brand new cast of characters. The main ones are Liko, a girl from Paldea who has a Sprigatito as her starter. Then there is Roy who is from the Kanto region and seemingly gets a Fuecoco as his starter. There is a Pikachu but they are called Captain Pikachu with the Pokemon Professor of this show, Friede.

The first two episodes just aired on April 14, 2023 in Japan. Meaning it will be some time before the release in English and other languages around the world.

Keeping that in mind, it seems as though they are taking a page out of the original series book. By having Liko, the main character meet what is likely a legendary Pokemon right out of the gates. This time though it seems as if this Pokemon will be much more connected to her than the passing Ho-Oh was for Ash.

As one can see in the image above, Liko and her Sprigatito come into contact with the never before seen Pokemon. But basing it on what was revealed about the newest Pokemon DLC coming later this year, “The Indigo Disk”, it looks to be related to Terapagos in some fashion. Most likely, it is the pre evolution of the new legendary Pokemon that will be the focus of the DLC.

Beyond that, not much else is known at this point. Should more information come out soon, this article will be updated.
