Mobius is a great card to add to your Marvel Snap deck due to its versatility and synergy with other cards. So, here’s our take on a Mobius Marvel Snap deck!

If you’re a fan of Marvel TV shows and have watched Loki, then you should be quite familiar with Owen Wilson’s amazing portrayal of Agent Mobius. Mobius M. Mobius is a rather unique character on-screen, and when he was introduced in Marvel Snap back in September, fans were exhilarated to include the card in their decks. And to no one’s surprise, the card works well in a variety of different decks. So, here’s our build guide on the best Mobius Marvel Snap deck!

Mobius M. Mobius Card Profile

Mobius is a 3-cost card with a power of 3. It has an ongoing ability that prevents the cost of your cards from going up and the cost of your opponent’s cards from going down. This is a great card that synergizes well with low-cost and buff cards.

The Best Mobius Marvel Snap Deck

Mobius is a highly versatile card and can fit in a variety of different decks due to its incredible defensive abilities. However, for our money, we think that Mobius fits really well into Sera Control Decks as of the current meta. And if you need a refresher on how the deck building aspect works, you can also check out our beginner’s guide on Marvel Snap.

Here’s the breakdown for the deck:

Card Cost Power
Shadow King 2 2
Zabu 2 2
Lizard 2 5
Maximus 2 6
Killmonger 3 3
Mobius 3 3
Gladiator 3 8
Shang-Chi 4 3
Enchantress 4 5
Ms. Marvel 4 5
Sera 5 4
Legion 5 7

What are the Abilities of the Cards?

Here’s a summary of all the card abilities in the deck we are using:

  1. Shadow King – On Reveal: Set all cards here to their original base Power.
  2. Zabu – Ongoing: Your 4-Cost cards cost 1 less. (minimum 1 less)
  3. Lizard – Ongoing: -4 Power if your opponent has 4 cards here.
  4. Maximus – On Reveal: Your opponent draws 2 cards.
  5. Killmonger – On Reveal: Destroy ALL 1-Cost cards.
  6. Mobius M. Mobius – Ongoing: Your Costs can’t be increased. Your opponent’s Costs can’t be reduced.
  7. Gladiator – On Reveal: Add a card from your opponent’s deck to their side of this location. If it has less Power, destroy it.
  8. Shang-Chi – On Reveal: Destroy all enemy cards at this location that have 10 or more Power.
  9. Enchantress – On Reveal: Remove the abilities from all Ongoing cards at this location.
  10. Ms. Marvel – Ongoing: Adjacent locations where your cards have unique Costs have +5 Power.
  11. Sera – Ongoing: Cards in your hand cost 1 less. (minimum 1)
  12. Legion – On Reveal: Replace each other location with this one.

How Does the Deck Work?

Your game starts from turn 2 with this deck. In turn 2, the ideal card to play would be Zabu as it means you can bring out your turn 4 cards in turn 3. Otherwise, you can play Lizard or Shadow King to get control of the location.

On turn 3, you should play Mobius to enhance your control of the game. Or if you have Zabu down, then playing Ms. Marvel is also viable. Gladiator is another solid choice if you can predict the kind of cards your opponent is running.

Turn 4 is also quite similar to turn 3 as you should try to get Mobius on board if you haven’t already. And if you weren’t able to play Zabu before, then this is the time to utilize the abilities of your 4-Cost cards. Apart from Ms. Marvel, Enchantress is also a great play here as long as you avoid nullifying the abilities of your own Ongoing cards.

Turn 5 is all about trying to get Sera on the battlefield. And if you see that a particular location is giving your cards an advantage, then playing Legion there is also highly recommended.

On your final turn, it’s time to take the game by the scruff of its neck. By now you should have plenty of cards to close out the game with. If any of your locations are lacking, then playing Maximus or Gladiator now would be really good. You can also play Killmonger or Shang-Chi to get rid of some of your opponent’s cards.

Is Playing Mobius Worth it?

Having Mobius in your deck is definitely worth it. The card provides a lot of flexibility and defense when going up against top-tier meta decks. However, you should also look out for potential counters from cards like Enchantress as it can shut out Mobius from being useful. Other than that, this deck should give you enough versatility to win against most decks. For more guides on Marvel Snap, check out ESTNN!
