Netmarble have revealed that global pre-registrations for Marvel Future Revolution are now live.
From today, Marvel fans will be able to sign up for the hotly anticipated open world MMO with a major gameplay reveal to follow. The upcoming game is expected to launch on September 30, 2021 for mobile devices. Netmarble have yet to confirm a release date. You can pre-register right now on iOS and Android.
Announced last year, Marvel Future Revolution is aiming for AAA quality graphics and immersive RPG gameplay for mobile devices. It won’t just focus on a small cluster of favourite Marvel characters. Instead it will pull from a large roster of heroes and villains as familiar worlds collide during a catastrophic event known as “The Convergence”. It will feature an original storyline created by Spider-Man and Avengers writer, Marc Sumerak.
Confirmed playable characters include:
- Spider-Man
- Iron Man
- Captain America
- Doctor Strange
- Black Widow
- Captain Marvel
- Storm
- Star-Lord
From what we’ve seen and heard of Marvel Future Revolution, this could be the best Marvel MMO to date. Early footage of game looks astounding, juggling sparkly visuals with a look that’s faithful to the Marvel comics and movies. There’s an emphasis on power-heavy action combat that will hopefully be a little more involved than most Diablo-style RPGs we see on mobiles.
It will feature multiple game modes including co-op missions where heroes team up to take down iconic villains. Speaking of bad guys, there is a growing list of supervillains players will be going up against such as Kingpin, Yellowjacket, Ares, Maestro, Cull Obsidian, Red Skull, and Ultron.
Netmarble are no strangers when it comes to crafting popular mobile hits. They ever have prior experience with the Marvel universe, having developed Marvel Future Fight. Hopefully today’s reveal will give us a much closer look at raw gameplay while also outlining what content will be available at launch, as well as a release date.
