Here’s a prototype object created in CircuitPython with displayio on an Adafruit PyPortal Pynt. The code accepts a normalized input value (0.0 to 1.2). A value of 0.0 is represented by a wide indicator band. At 1.0, the band closes. Values above 1.0 show a brightened (overlapped) band.
