Are you looking for a list of LaTale M classes? Wondering what the best class is? Well, you’re in the right place. In this guide, I’m going to round up all of the classes that you can currently play as. I’ll detail how they play, their strengths and cons, and then move onto what I consider to be the best class. This is going to be a bit of a subjective section, as it does depend on how you like to play. I’ll aim to include as much detail as possible.

LaTale M is a side-scrolling MMORPG like MapleStory M. You pick a class, then head on an adventure across gorgeous 2D environments. Expect to complete a bunch of quests, level up, and loot gear that can help your character grow in power. You can also work together to tackle difficult content, and perform leisurely activities like gathering, mining, and fishing. Oh, and if you like dressing up, LaTale M is the game for you.

So go ahead and grab it right now on Google Play. If you’re looking for similar experiences, check out our Dragon Nest 2: Evolution classes list, MapleStory M tier list, and Tales of Dragon classes guide.

LaTale M Classes

Now, let’s take a look at the four different classes in LaTale M, and detail everything that you need to know about them.

Warrior

The Warrior is the all-rounder class that ties all of the roles together. It doesn’t quite excel in any specific area, but it can comfortably fill any role when your party is lacking. Its strengths, if you can call them that, are DPS and control, though it has fairly decent survivability in a pinch.

  • Strengths:
    • All-rounder
    • Decent DPS
    • Solid control options
  • Weaknesses:
    • Doesn’t excel in any area
    • Low mobility
    • Low support options
  • Weapons:
    • Two-Handed Sword
    • Spear
    • Twin Blades

Explorer

The Explorer is a combination of ranged damage dealer and assassin-type, and one of the best damage dealers in LaTale M. While the Wizard is best for sustained DPS, the Explorer is a greater burst option. It will absolutely melt a boss’s HP in seconds. The Explorer also has terrific mobility, allowing it to get around much faster than the other classes.

  • Strengths:
    • Best burst DPS
    • Excellent mobility
    • Ranged attacks
  • Weaknesses:
    • Limited CC options
    • Few support options
    • A bit squishy
  • Weapons:
    • Short Sword
    • Bow
    • Crossbow
    • Twin Guns

Knight

The Knight is LaTale M’s tank, and it really leans into this playstyle, with limited options aside from just absorbing damage like a sponge. It does have decent CC and support options to help keep your team alive though. This class should be a staple in endgame parties.

  • Strengths:
    • Best survivability
    • Best tank
    • Control and support options
  • Weaknesses:
    • Low mobility
    • Poor attack and burst options
    • No ranged attacks
  • Weapons:
    • Single-Handed Sword
    • Blunt Weapon
    • Gauntlets

Wizard

The Wizard is the master of DPS, and has the best sustained damage of any of the classes. It can’t quite burst at the level of the Explorer though. When not throwing fireballs with wild abandon, the Wizard can offer support options too.

  • Strengths:
    • Best sustained DPS
    • Solid burst options
    • Support options
  • Weaknesses:
    • Squishy
    • Low mobility
    • Limited to DPS
  • Weapons:
    • Magic Ball
    • Staff
    • Guitar

LaTale M Best Class

So, at this point you want to know what the LaTale M best class is. Well, let’s start by looking at how the classes are broken down:

  • Warrior: All-rounder
  • Knight: Tank / Support
  • Wizard: DPS / Support
  • Explorer: DPS / Mobility

So, judging from this list, I’d argue that the Warrior is the weakest choice. We want a class that can excel in a vital area, and the Warrior just focuses on doing everything, but not as well as other classes.

Then, in the DPS department, we have the Wizard and Explorer. Both of these are fantastic options, and are equally good. The primary difference is that the Wizard deals sustained DPS, while the Explorer prefers to burst attack.

For Tank, it’s the Knight, which outclasses all other, err, classes for survivability. The Warrior can tank in a bind, but you would prefer a Knight given the option.

And, as for Support, LaTale M lacks a dedicated option. Knight and Wizard can both fill that role in their own way though, so, for late game parties, you want to bring both of these at least.

If I had to pick one LaTale M best class, I would argue that it’s the Wizard. It has the joint-best DPS and can fill in as a Support in end-game parties. You definitely want a DPS class if you’re playing alone, too, so it will have the easiest time of all characters.
