A Kensington Gardens home has been meticulously crafted and offers an unprecedented level of luxury in the heart of the eastern suburbs.

Vendors Natalie and Ben started building the home at 7 Leonore Ave in 2019 through Genworth Group.

Now they’re selling it so they can move on to a new project.

While it was a long process, Natalie says the end result was well worth the wait.

“A lot of blood, sweat and tears has gone into this house and I think it shows in the final look,” Natalie says.

“The reason all of the textures and materials complement each other and work so well together is because we had so many supply chain issues that for some elements we had to change our mind three times, so by that point every detail was so refined because we got so many chances to get it right, because we had to.”

The home offers some 608sqm of indoor and outdoor living space and has up to four bedrooms – three with ensuites and one with a retreat – all on the lift-serviced upper level, where you’ll also find a home theatre, a store room and a balcony.

Downstairs, the front door opens to a grand entry hall, off of which you’ll find a library, a mudroom, a wine store and separate cellar, a powder room and the lift.

The nearby garage/workshop features a hoist that lowers into the floor and custom lighting from the US.

But the heart of the home is undoubtedly the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area that opens to a covered terrace with outdoor kitchen overlooking a pool and spa, a steamroom, a low-maintenance garden and a basketball court.

French navy blue accents feature throughout the property.

“We started out with the kitchen island and just made that colour pop throughout the house, and everyone that has been here says that the blue ties the whole home together so well,” Natalie says.

“It’s a fantastic entertainer too.

“We had my daughter’s 13th here and my son’s friends are in and out so much I feel like we’ve had every 16-year-old in Adelaide through here.

“It’s fantastic how much everyone feels so at home here, and it really just shows that what we’ve created really is the perfect executive family home.”

With the couple now on to their next project, Natalie says she is incredibly proud of what they have created.

“We were brave, we pushed the limits and we have finished it off beautifully, and I’m jealous of whoever gets to call this their forever home – it’s just exquisite,” she said.
