Shoot – and dodge – ’em up with Polyfury on Xbox

Fully inspired by the likes of Geometry Wars and Tempest, Polyfury blasts onto Xbox, bringing with it some hardcore geometric bullet-hell. Are you up for the challenge?

A new shoot ’em up challenge

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Polyfury is the creation of the Wayfarer Games team. It’s they who are looking to build on the usual shoot ’em up ideas with a game that utilises a ton of geometric plans. Tasking you with flying around the Seven Deadly Shapes, you’ll be thrust into a world of bullets, lasers and destruction.

Priced at £12.49, Polyfury releases on Xbox in hope of dragging in all those players who found joy in the likes of Geometry Wars from back in the day. We’re signed up on that premise alone, intrigued by how Polyfury works in its intense bullet-hell elements.

Complete with the most minimalistic of artstyles, shooting and dodging is the name of the game in Polyfury, as simple controls come to the fore. It looks nothing but utterly intense. But if you’re down for a new test of the reflexes, it should well appeal.

Buy now!

We’ll look to review Polyfury on Xbox as soon as we can. But for now you can head to the Xbox Store and grab a download of the game. It’s playable across both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Let us know if you take home a copy. The comments are below.
