You can use these advanced tactics to survive longer during team fights in Dota 2 with Undying.

Players can turn a Dota 2 match in their favor by using the right skills to destroy enemy heroes in the game. There is a wide range of heroes with unique abilities that can be used to prevent your team from being defeated during team fights. Team members can cast a number of spells to restore the health of their allies and deal damage to kill their enemies instantly in battles.

Many people who play Dota 2 excel in taking charge of a situation by initiating combat with their chosen heroes. Strength heroes in the massively multiplayer can help your team last longer in team fights by taking a considerable amount of damage from enemy heroes. These characters can tank damage from enemy towers and protect your allies from lethal spells that are targeted at team members to weaken them.

Melee heroes, like Undying, can cast several spells to increase their health and help their allies regenerate their health. You can pick Undying in Dota 2 games to deal bonus damage to enemy heroes with your physical attacks while stripping your opponents of their Strength.

Take a look at how you can survive team fights with Undying in Dota 2.

Undying is a support hero who can withstand massive amounts of damage during battles. His primary attribute is Strength and people can cast his abilities to steal the Strength of enemy heroes early in the game.

The melee hero has 640 health at the start of the game, letting Dirge approach enemy creeps in lanes without dying. His physical attacks can deal up to 57 – 65 damage per hit. You can increase the damage dealt by the melee hero by purchasing a Quelling Blade after spawning into the game. A Quelling Blade grants bonus damage to enemy creeps and can also be used to chop down trees in Dota 2. The item costs 100 gold and a Quelling Blade can be equipped before the first minute of the game to earn more gold per minute (GPM) while playing Undying.

People who are eager to take First Blood in a Dota 2 match can level up Tombstone and head to the river. Undying can cast Tombstone right before the Bounty rune appears in the river to spawn zombies that can chase enemy heroes down.

Tombstone requires 120 mana to be used at level one and it can take up to 5 hits from enemy heroes to destroy the Tombstone. Zombies summoned by Tombstone can last for up to 30 seconds and deal up to 34 damage to enemies in the game. Allies can use their skills to stun enemy heroes around the Tombstone to increase Undying’s chances of getting a First Blood.

Players can take the off lane to farm more gold with Undying. The off lane has a Secret Shop near the tower that can be accessed to purchase items to restore the health and mana of Undying. Items, such as Ring of Health and Energy Booster can help Undying last longer in the off lane.

You can focus on completing a Vanguard and Arcane Boots to be able to nuke enemy heroes and attack your opponents without hesitation. Arcane Boots will also increase the mana pool of Undying, allowing him to use several instances of Decay and Soul Rip to gain health while taking last hits on enemy creeps.

Undying can cast Decay to deal a base damage of 120 per cast. Decay can be used to steal up to 4 Strength attributes from enemy heroes in a radius of 325. The Strength gained from Decay can last for up to 45 seconds. Decay has a cooldown of 4 seconds and consumes 100 mana. You can increase the damage dealt by Decay at level 10 through the Talent Tree.

You’ll need to take at least one level of Tombstone before being able to use Soul Rip while playing the support hero in Dota 2. Soul Rip can restore up to 15 health per unit found around Undying in a radius of 1300. Undying can heal health for up to a maximum of 10 units with Soul Rip. You can also use Soul Rip to deal 15 damage per unit to enemy heroes.

Players can nuke enemy heroes with Decay a few times to reduce the maximum health of enemy heroes. Once the enemy heroes are weakened by Decay, Dirge can cast Tombstone to increase the total number of units around him. You can use Soul Rip after taking a considerable amount of damage in a lane. Soul Rip can be quite helpful to survive longer while fighting enemy heroes with your team in Dota 2 matches.

Undying can turn on his ulti, Flesh Golem, before entering battles to sustain more damage from enemy heroes. Flesh Golem provides up to 60% of his Strength attributes to Undying for 40 seconds. Each physical attack from Undying deals an additional 35% attack damage per hit while Flesh Golem is active.

Enemy units affected by Flesh Golem have their movement speed slowed by 50% for 6 seconds. Undying has a base movement speed of 300 and gains an additional 50 movement speed with Flesh Golem. The melee hero can cast Flesh Golem once every 125 seconds and needs 150 mana per cast in the game.

The support hero can level up faster in the game to reach level 25. Undying can unlock Reincarnation at level 25 through the Talent Tree, letting the Strength hero respawn after dying with full health and mana. Reincarnation has a cooldown of 300 seconds, making it harder to kill Undying during team fights.

Items to Buy for Undying

Urn of Shadows provides 2 Strength, 2 Agility, 2 Intelligence, 2 armor, and 1.4 mana regeneration to the Strength hero. The item can be bought for 880 gold in the game. You can cast Soul Release to heal allies for up to 30 health for 8 seconds by purchasing an Urn of Shadows.

Soul Release can also be cast on enemy heroes to deal 25 damage per second for 8 seconds. Undying can cast Decay to drain the health of enemy heroes before using Urn on Shadows to annihilate them in battles. The Strength hero can cast Soul Rip on himself while casting Urn of Shadows on allies to help the team survive battles in Dota 2 games. Urn of Shadows has a cooldown of 7 seconds. Undying gains a charge for Soul Release after an enemy hero is killed within a range of 1400 around the Strength hero while Urn of Shadows is equipped.

Mekansm can be purchased for 1775 gold in the game. Undying has a base armor of 2.7 and gains an additional 4 armor by purchasing a Mekansm in Dota 2. Allies around Undying gain 2.5 health regeneration rate while around the melee hero with Mekansm Aura, helping the team survive longer in lanes and team fights.

Undying can use Restore to replenish 275 health to allied units in a radius of 1200 using Mekansm. The item has a cooldown of 50 seconds and consumes 100 mana per cast. You can upgrade Mekansm to Guardian Greaves to restore more health and mana to heal your teammates during battles in Dota 2.

Vanguard

Vanguard grants Undying 250 health and 7 health regeneration. You can purchase a Vanguard for 1825 gold in the game. Undying has a 60% chance to block up to 64 damage from incoming attacks with Vanguard equipped in his inventory. You can upgrade Vanguard to Crimson Guard to protect allies from incoming damage during team fights.

All allied units in a radius of 1200 receive a bonus 2.5 health regeneration rate and 15% magic resistance with Insight Aura while around Dirge after buying Pipe of Insight.

Undying can cast Barrier on allied units to let them absorb up to 450 magical damage from spells during team fights, helping the team fight back against enemy heroes in Dota 2 matches. Barrier has a cooldown of 60 seconds and needs 100 mana per cast.

Disruptor is an Intelligence hero who can cast spells to trap enemy heroes and silence them during team fights. Allies playing Disruptor can help Undying protect the team by using his abilities to destroy enemy heroes in Dota 2.

People can restrict the movement of enemy heroes using Kinetic Field while playing Disruptor in the massively multiplayer game. Kinetic Field can hold multiple enemies in their positions for up to 4.4 seconds, letting Undying cast Tombstone and Decay to mitigate enemy heroes in battles.

Disruptor’s ulti, Static Storm, can be used after enemy heroes are contained within a Kinetic Field. Enemy units affected by Static Storm are silenced for 6 seconds and take up to 350 damage per second (DPS). Dirge can turn on Flesh Golem to attack opponents and decimate enemy heroes while they are silenced by
Static Storm.
