Ruben Amenyogbo, Head of Builders at Protocol Labs, stated that the collaboration aims to drive the widespread adoption of Web3 technologies and support the growth of decentralized finance, GameFi, SocialFi, and web3 infrastructure projects.

Cronos’ Accelerator Program focuses on DeFi, GameFi, SocialFi, and infrastructure, catering to early-stage teams building at the intersection of AI and blockchain.

The second cohort of the program, consisting of eight startups, has received seed funding of $30,000 and has the opportunity to secure additional seed funding of up to $300,000 from Cronos Labs and its partners.

Projects are selected based on criteria such as market potential, leadership team experience, market fit, and synergies with the Cronos chain. The second cohort began on May 15, 2023.
