Call of Duty HQ Officially Announced

Source Node: 2826257

Call of Duty HQ is the new home for the Call of Duty video game franchise. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 video games will be the first three in the series to be released, and all of the series’ chapters and other materials can be accessed from here.

What is Call of Duty HQ?

“Starting with Modern Warfare II and Warzone, then with Modern Warfare III and beyond, players will be able to manage all their content in one place, which we called Call of Duty HQ, making it easier for them to select the games and modes they want to play,” we can read in the post on the official website.

The fact that it was chosen to launch before Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 makes sense, given that we are talking about the first direct sequel to a Call of Duty released the previous year. This game will allow players to keep any items they have purchased or unlocked in Modern Warfare 2 and its campaign will begin at the conclusion of the previous game. These are two games that, in essence, are very closely related to one another.

Anyway, Activision’s intentions for the series going forward are still unknown; will there be annual launches? Or will it start the distinct modes as supplemental material for the various chapters? We need to wait to see how and what Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be like in the interim. Perhaps more details will be shared tomorrow when Modern Warfare 3 will be presented.

What we know for sure is that there is still a lot to learn, including if Call of Duty HQ will host any or all of the original Call of Duty games. For this reason, we suggest you to keep following us to always up-to-date about anything Call of Duty-related.
