There are several consumable items available in Palworld just like most games in its genre. And one of the most useful items in the game is Honey. How to Get Honey in Palworld?

Honey is a very critical ingredient in Palworld as it can be used to craft various items. Among them, the most important item you can craft is Cake. Learning how to optimally make Cakes in the early game can be really useful as it allows you to breed different Pals. Honey can also be consumed for 10 Food which should help with survivability in the game. So, if you know the location where you can get an abundance of Honey, it will give you an edge when starting out. Luckily, collecting Honey is a relatively simple albeit time-consuming process. 

To collect Honey, you will need to capture/defeat Pals that drop Honey. There are 4 Pals that drop Honey: Beegarde, Cinnamoth, Elizabee, and Warsect. The most effective way to get Honey in Palworld in our opinion is by first capturing a Beegarde and then bringing it back to your base and placing it in a Ranch. This allows you to get a constant free supply of Honey, although it is a bit of a slow process. 

Where to Get Honey in Palworld?

One of the mechanics of the game is – when you capture a Pal, it will reveal the location of where you can find more of the same Pals in your Paldeck. To save you some time, here’s the location of where you can find Beegardes:

You should also note that going to the location of the Beegarde habitat will require you to be around Level 20 as there are some strong Pals around the area which will likely flatten you if you’re unprepared. It’s best to make a beeline (yes, pun intended) to the nearest Beegarde and capture it before you catch the attention of other high-level Pals in the area. 

You can also get Honey by defeating Cinnamoths in the early game as they are relatively low-level. However, they can also drop Lettuce Seeds and Wheat Seeds. So, farming them is not the most ideal way to collect Honey as the process can be a bit of a hit or a miss. Here’s the location of where you can find Cinnamoths:

Overall, your strategy should be to first capture a Beegarde and then put it in a Ranch to get a steady supply of Honey. If you need more Honey, then you can go out and defeat some Cinnamoths, Beegardes, Elizabees, and Warsects. Take our advice and be prepared for the fights beforehand.
