We remember it like it was yesterday, but back in 2021 we took on the opportunity to become an Animal Doctor on Xbox. Frankly, it didn’t deliver much in the way of ‘doctoring’. Hopes are high then that the launch of Animal Hospital on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch is more in keeping with the title…

The doors open to the Animal Hospital

Available right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch is Animal Hospital. This one comes from the NACON and Tivoli Studio teams and is far removed from that of the previously released Animal Doctor. They may seem like they should fit in the same universe, but you’d be wrong; different dev teams, people!

Anyways, Animal Hospital will set you back some £34.99 from the Xbox Store. Yep, this isn’t cheap and it’s probably a bit too expensive to take a punt on. But if you’ve got some kids in the house screaming and shouting about wanting to pet a dog or look after a cat, it’ll at least prepare them for a vet’s life. 

Animal Hospital is also a game that promises to teach. In fact, NACON are keen to point out that this is a game that will help you learn about various species, from all four corners of the globe. There wil be the usual cats and dogs present, but also koalas, pandas and even unicorns. It seems like a bit of artistic license could go the way of Tivoli Studio.
