The non-hybrid Santa Fe range is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four shifting through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. The Hybrid range employs a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, sending output to a six-speed automatic helped by an electric motor, making 231 hp and 271 lb-ft. — five horses and 13 pound-feet over the current Hybrid’s numbers.
