Steven in NYC Thursday Sept 21 – Sun 24th

#UnstoppableAfrica
I’ll be heading down on the #FlixBus 5 hour trip from #Ithaca to #NYC the place of my birth and youth.

Being an active investor, advisor, mentor and friend to the emerging African startup tech ecosystem and it’s youthful driven ambitious leaders, I’ve been invited to the prestigious event below.

I have felt totally welcome by the giants of the African VC world. As a somewhat unique person in this scene I have been invited into many conversations and opportunities as a bridge between wealthy global investors and the best and brightest of youthful African dreamers.

Looking forward to connecting in person with lots of partners, colleagues and friends this weekend. I am grateful to feel strong and healthy for this rich opportunity.

Reach out via text or email. Attending this and similar events in NYC are Busie Matsiko-Andan , Mope Abudu , #SamBaddoo and others.

I’ll be staying in #BrooklynHeights. If you have or know of a good place for me to stay closer to midtown, that would save me travel time and more energy to connect. Thanks in advance.

Looking forward to seeing You my NYC friends and partners.

Hi Steven Freidmutter,

Thank you for registering to attend the Global Africa Business Initiative – #UnstoppableAfrica on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 September at the Westin Hotels & Resorts New York Grand Central located at 212 East 42nd Street, NYC. We are pleased to confirm your attendance and look forward to you joining us for two days of high energy conversations on Unstoppable Africa.

Launched last year under the leadership of Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed, GABI is the premier private sector-led global platform that galvanizes African and global leaders to amplify Africa’s unstoppable business, trade, and investment opportunities.

Unstoppable Africa will once again provide a platform for strategic high-level discussions between Heads of State, private sector leaders, investors, heads of multilateral organizations, and leading creative economy personalities. This year, we will focus on three themes: Energy Access and Energy Transition, Inclusive Growth and Trade, and the Digital Transformation.

We appreciate you taking time out from your busy schedule to take part in these critical conversations. When Africa wins, the world wins.

Sincerely,
Sanda Ojiambo
