The next campaign book for Dungeons & Dragons, Van Richtenov vodnik po Ravenloftu, arrives on May 18 and pre-orders have been open for a while now. Beadle & Grimms is also getting in on the action, launching its own pre-order for a special $185 deluxe version of the campaign module that will start shipping in July. Supplies of the Shadowy Silver Edition of Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft go on sale Monday.
Like previous boxed sets, Beadle & Grimm’s is breaking the single book apart into multiple smaller documents for ease of transport. But it’s also adding in lots of handouts, including maps for major settings like Lamordia, Kalakeri, and Barovia. There are also three different jewelry pieces, 40 encounter cards to make running the adventures a bit easier, and loads of physical handouts.

A news release from Beadle & Grimm’s says this is only the second time the company has released a boxed set to accompany the launch of a D&D campaign setting. The first was the Gold Edition of Eberron: Vstajanje iz zadnje vojne, which you can still find copies of na spletu. The other boxed sets they’ve launched — including The Legendary Edition of Curse of Strahd — have all arrived well after the publication of the campaigns they’re based on.
