WWE 2K24 has today been confirmed for an 8th March 2024 release on PS5 and PS4, with main eventers such as Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair fronting the reveal trailer. To mark 40 years of WrestleMania, the game will feature "a collection of some of the most unforgettable, career-defining matches" the grand event has hosted.

There will be an "iconic roster" made up of legends like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker alongside some of the current greats mentioned above. New match types include Guest Referee to Casket, Gauntlet, and Ambulance, and now multiple superstars can pick a fight at once in a Backstage Brawl. Modes like MyRISE, MyFACTION, and MyGM will also return. Then, the Universe mode has been upgraded with "expanded rivalry actions, all-new cutscenes, and support for double-title matches".

Pre-orders are now live on the PS Store, with the base PS5, PS4 cross-gen version costing £64.99 / $69.99. There's also the Deluxe Edition, which bundles in the season pass and Nightmare Family Pack, for £89.99 / $99.99, and the Forty Years of WrestleMania version, which will give you the WrestleMania 40 arena later this summer as well as a load of gold MyFACTION cards and alternate skins for classic wrestlers. That one will set you back £104.99 / $119.99.
