A newly designed Battle Bus and sweet treats across the island are just the beginning of the changes in the latest patch. Pumpkin Launchers, Witch Brooms, and the Kinetic Blade returned, and the Wood Stake Shotgun joined the current weapon pool.

All eyes were on the newest Fortnitemares skins, though. Iconic Halloween characters like Alan Wake, Michael Myers, and Jack Skellington are making their way to the Battle Royale, along with a set of new original Fortnite skins. The cosmetics and weapons truly got the island ready for Oct. 31.

So, how much longer do fans have to explore the spooky additions to Fortnite?

Fortnitemares 2023 ends on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at 2 a.m. ET. The Halloween celebration will run for the reminder of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4.

Fortnitemares 2023 is the perfect way to bring Fortnite Last Resort’s villain, Kado Thorne, to the forefront of the lore ahead of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5. Allegedly, the vampire’s Time Machine could be taking the island back to Chapter 1 Season 5.

The Michael Myers skin is coming to Fortnite sometime in Fortnitemares 2023. Although Epic Games has not released an exact date just yet, we expect the skin to drop closer to Halloween in honor of the iconic villain’s leading role.

To get Michael Myers in Fortnite, players must purchase the skin from the Item Shop when it releases.
