Its ammo is also very common, so you don’t have to worry about running out as much as you do with other weapons. To get it, defeat an ‘Infected Legendary Soldier’ or open ‘Green Surplus Crates’ dotted around the map.

L96A1

If you prefer to sit back and kill off zombies at range, rather than on the frontlines, pick the L96A1. This is undoubtedly the best sniper rifle in the game, thanks to its best-in-class accuracy. If you miss with this weapon, it’s down to your skill and nothing else.

The downside? Much like the AUG, this is a rare weapon to find, If it does drop for you, make sure you hold onto it tightly and never let go.

FAL

The FAL is an often overlooked weapon in Apocalypse Rising 2, and that’s due to its recoil. It’s very high and difficult to manage when you fire on full auto. However, that’s not the point of the FAL.

It’s basically a full auto sniper rifle, and you should treat it at such. It favours range, so stay away from enemies and use a scope to increase your accuracy. Then, fire in single shots or bursts to manage the recoil.
