PC gamers with an Epic Games Store account (it’s free) can pick up The Silent Age and Tunche beginning today and until April 6.
Tunche is a hand-drawn action-adventure roguelite developed by Peru-based LEAP Game Studios; the game is also set in that country. Players take one of five playable protagonists — including Hat Kid, in an unusual crossover with A Hat in Time — on a journey through the Amazon rainforest. They fight their way through the jungle with impressive attack combinations and other skills they learn along the way.

The Silent Age is a point-and-click adventure, in which the player is a time traveler from 1972 who ends up in a post-apocalyptic reimagining of 2012. Come for the minimalist art style, stay for the intriguing puzzles and level design.

Next week’s games, available beginning April 6, will be Blazing Sails, a PvP pirate adventure, and Dying Light: Enhanced Edition, Techland’s 2015 parkouring post-apocalyptic adventure, which includes all of the DLC the game received in its first year of release.
The Epic Games Store freebies are available to anyone who has an Epic Games Store account; they’ll be added to your library and launched from there. Epic has been giving away free games on a weekly basis, as an inducement to join the store (and play Epic’s own games, such as Fortnite), since it launched in December 2018.
When does the Epic Games Store update with free games?
Typically, Epic refreshes its lineup of free games every Thursday at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT.
