The Oasis Network is a layer 1 proof of stake, decentralized network. The Oasis network is built for scalability. It offers a consensus layer and a Para Time Layer. The Oasis Network is a privacy first network which supports confidential smart contracts. Data is encrypted by going through a secure enclave which produces an Encrypted Result.

This is a new Era for blockchain…confidentiality unlocks a range of new use cases by allowing personal or sensitive data, to be used by apps on the Oasis Network. Oasis Protocol has its own token. It’s called the Rose ($ROSE) token.
