The United States’ Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has sent a letter to OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, asking for answers on how it addresses the risk to people’s reputation. The concerns are that responses generated by the service about people could be misleading or harmful, as well as that personal information could form part of the response to a prompt.
