Warzone 2 Kevin Durant Operator Teased

Basketball superstar Kevin Durant is coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II., Warzone 2 and COD Mobile, Activision announced via a teaser on social media.

CharlieINTEL noted on Twitter that the teaser is named Easy Money Sniper, alluding to Durant’s Instagram handle. As well, CharlieINTEL caught a screenshot of the teaser being uploaded to Facebook with the file name reading KD_Teaser_4x5v3.mp4 before changing the caption. The teaser itself features an Operator parachuting down into Al Mazrah with a basketball in their right hand. The official caption for the teaser reads: “Get ready to get dunked on.”

This is the fourth collaboration between a sports superstar and Activision. Warzone 2 received cosmetic bundles for Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba and Neymar Jr. back in Nov. 2022 in honor of the World Cup.

Activision is no stranger to partnering with athletes, musicians, actors and more in promotional events. Though, this is the first time an NBA superstar has been added to Warzone.

The Warzone 2 Kevin Durant Operator does not have a release date yet, but expect it to arrive soon considering the NBA is in the middle of the 2023 playoffs.
