Ethereum co-founder Vithalik Buterin has been found to send USDC worth above $ 15 million to Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange. The purpose is unknown, and the transaction was not self-published but discovered and declared on X by a blockchain-analyst firm.

Industry-leading blockchain security and analyst company PeckShield took to X on October 17 and posted about its findings. With a screenshot as proof, PeckShield highlighted the blockchain ID, claiming it to be Vithalik’s.

On October 16, he transferred $14.93 million to Gemini. On October 16, he transferred $14.93 million to Gemini. On October 14, Buterin received this sum of 14.93 million USDC from Kanro, a foundation connected to Buterin.

P.S. For crypto-analytic enthusiasts, the transactions have been highlighted above with links.

What Are The Similar Previous Transactions?

We are mentioning previous transactions because it’s part of a chronology.

This present transaction comes on the heels of one just three weeks ago in which 400 ETH worth around $600,000 was delivered to Coinbase using a different wallet connected to Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.

In recent weeks, Buterin has participated in several other ETH deposits to centralized exchanges. He put 321 ETH in Kraken between September 15 and September 19.

Buterin allegedly performed several transactions between September 17 and September 20, transferring 1,700 ETH to Bitstamp.

In addition, he added 500 ETH to Paxos on September 19.

The majority of this was completed using several wallets labeled with Vitalik.

A sell-off is often signaled by the transfer of huge amounts of crypto coins to centralized exchanges.

Most crypto enthusiasts are sure that such hefty transactions could only indicate that Vithalik Buterin is buying back Ethereum.
