You are the titular strike team aboard the spaceship Gladius, and have been sent to the moon of Typhon to investigate the disappearance of a research team. From there, all hell ensues!

In Strike Team Gladius on Xbox consoles – with a PlayStation and Switch release slated for the 13th July – you’ll be battling against hordes of aliens in strategic turn-based combat. Over in PC land, the game has garnered a smattering of Positive Steam reviews.

The campaign boasts forty levels, each employing their own enemies, obstacles, and additional objectives to complete. Throughout, you’ll become familiar with your own strike team, which you can assemble yourself.

There are twenty-two classes of soldier you can choose from, to fit your unique playstyle. Do you rush into things with tank characters? Or do you stay back from the fray, chipping away at health bars with ranged attacks? The choice very much is yours, and there’s all the micro managing of stats for us tactical nerds to get truly stuck into.
