DYNABLASTER is back!

Hot on the heels of release of Super Bomberman R 2 comes another exciting and explosive affair. DYNABLASTER is back and available on Xbox, Switch, PC and more!

For many, the ultimate blast ’em up is that of the Bomberman series. And with that in mind we should think that the most recent release of Super Bomberman R 2 will be more than enough to get the juices flowing. For others though, those wanting something else to get their teeth into, DYNABLASTER will suit. 

DYNABLASTER is available right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, Mac, Apple TV and Atari VCS. It comes from the BBG Entertainment team as they take what was present in the 2015 original, reimagining it for a more modern audience. 

DYNABLASTER does as it says on the tin. This is an explosive tactical affair in which you’ll get the chance to chuck bombs, and dodge their after effects. Staying alive longest is the name of the game, with tactical ideas an strategic calls at the fore of any success. 

New features!

It comes to new consoles and PC with plenty of enhancements too. Expect all the usual explosive gameplay, excitement of the multiplayer modes and classic mechanics, but then you can also throw on much more. Enhanced visuals, new ideas, cross-platform support and the like. In fact, you’ll find the new DYNABLASTER complete with all the following… 

  • Visual and performance enhancements – upgraded graphics and enhanced 3D visual effects. 
  • New gameplay mechanics – with more strategic options. 
  • New Co-op mode – challenging cooperative key collection mode
  • Improved local and online multiplayer modes – allowing for up to four players to play together.
  • Cross-platform support – enabling up to four players to compete online against each other across different systems.

All the power-ups

There are a ton of power-ups to utilise here too. Nitros, Mines, Gluye, Shields and more will be available for use. 

  • Nitro: You can move about faster
  • Flame: Your bombs are more effective and have higher detonation energy
  • Multi Bomb: Will allow you to lay multiple bombs, creating a chain reaction
  • Shield: Turns you into an immortal for a few seconds
  • Water Can: Use to prevent bombs from detonating
  • TNT: Destroy all competitors within a certain perimeter
  • Mine: Set the mine like a trap so that no one can step on it
  • Glue: Use glue to stick opponents for a while on the spot
  • Invisibility: You are hidden for a few moments
  • Teleport: Moves you back to your starting point
  • Sickness: Can slow you down, speed you up, reduce the flame of your bombs or other accidental disadvantages
  • Keys: Collect the keys of your colors, help find and clear the way to the keys of your teammates in special cooperative mode

Whether you’re playing alone or with friends – local or online – DYNABLASTER is here to deliver a slightly different take on the usual explosive nature of these games.
