(Video) The chip shortage may be winding down, but there are still a few parts that didn’t make it to the other side. To wit: the TCS34725 color sensor, a mainstay in so many Adafruit projects, has been discontinued.

We loved this sensor as it had a few nice things going for it: Red/Green/Blue and Clear diode sensors, IR blocking/cut filter, INTerrupt output, I2C communication, and a low cost of under $2 in quantity.

We may not be able to get the exact same sensor, but let’s try to find something with as much overlap as possible.
