How to Use Texture Packs in Minecraft

First, there are tonnes of texture packs you can use from inside Minecraft bedrock edition itself. Go into the marketplace and you can find them to purchase. If you prefer your texture packs a little rawer but 100% off the price, here’s how to do that.

First, find a pack you like the look of and download it. After this, boot up Minecraft Java and click on the options menu.

From here, click into the “Resource Packs…” tab and then click “Open Pack Folder” to find your folder in your computer. Move the texture pack into this folder and Minecraft will find it in your “Resource Packs…” section.

Click on the pack you want to use, then click done and the game will boot up with your new pack. Now that you know this, here are some of the best packs currently available. We’ve avoided Ray Tracing texture packs as they’re less easy to find and much harder to run.

oCd

Forgiving the somewhat ironic name, the oCd texture pack is satisfyingly blocky, with easy-to-understand textures and a subtle weirdness. There’s something very strange about going into a cave to find simple, one colour blocks.
