The official brackets have been drawn for GSL Super Tournament #2. The tournament will be held from May 17th to May 27th, with a total of $25,600 in prize money and 1500 EPT Points on the line.
With Rogue’s declaration that he’ll be taking it easy for this tournament, the championship seems to be wide open for anyone to take. Will Maru find a modicum of redemption after his disappointing Code S finals performance? Or perhaps TY will go out with a bang of glory in what’s almost certain to be his final major tournament before military service.
[Note: GSL will be holding three Super Tournaments in 2021, with Super Tournament #3 set to be held after Code S Season 3.]

oof, everyone’s hyping up TY… im not so sure… sOs looking like a beast PvT at the moment. Recently 2-0’d Cure in the Super Tournament Qualifiers (who himself has been on a tear lately).
Trying to figure out what sort of form sOs is in is kind of impossible. But TY’s usual early heavy aggression/harassment against Protoss seems like it would work well in the series.

Normally I’d give Maru the edge vs. Ragnarok, but it remains to be seen whether Maru has an answer to, you know, roaches. Or slow banes. That kinda stuff.
While both Ragnarok and Rogue begin with R and play Zerg and can build Roaches. One of them has titles, the other doesn’t

If you search for Ragnarok vs Maru head-to-head record, the result is “abusive”.

Haha, dont worry even if Maru does not play his best he will beat Ragnarok, the skill difference there is just quite heavily in favor of Maru.
Inno will be a tough opponent though if he comes in the sort of mindset he presented in the GSL finals.
