The highly anticipated launch of the Shibarium mainnet remains on track, with the Shiba Inu community eagerly awaiting market recovery.

LUCIE, a prominent marketing official from the Shiba Inu development team, recently took to Twitter to share some encouraging news. She emphasized that the future of Shibarium is still bright and that the ideal time for its launch would come when the market starts to regain stability.

According to LUCIE, the Shiba Inu ecosystem, represented by Shiba Inu (SHIB), Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), and Doge Killer (LEASH), is poised to endure the current market turmoil. These crypto assets are symbolic of the people’s fight for financial freedom.

During the weekend, the cryptocurrency market experienced a downturn, resulting in SHIB losing 1.05% in the last 24 hours and 21.99% over the past seven days.

Nevertheless, LUCIE firmly believes that the Shibarium launch will be a game-changer. The introduction of Shibarium aims to address scalability and utility issues within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. 

Why is Shibarium Making Airwaves?

Shibarium has garnered significant attention due to its potential to resolve the high gas fees and scalability challenges associated with the Ethereum (ETH) network. Shibarium aims to enhance the Shiba Inu ecosystem by alleviating these pain points.

The network is also expected to attract investors and projects into the Shiba Inu ecosystem, thereby bolstering utility. Shibarium will further increase SHIB burns by burning up to 70% of base fees collected from every transaction.

Meanwhile, speculations regarding the precise date of Shibarium’s debut continue to circulate. As previously reported by The Crypto Basic, Shibarium1, a member of the Shibarium development team, stated that the launch was projected to occur in August.

“It is closer than you expect, and we are expediting its release due to positive developments in testing and other factors,” he disclosed.

Lucie has also touched upon the burning question of the specific launch date, revealing that the Shibarium mainnet is slated to go live between the second and third quarters of this year. However, she confirmed that she was not certain.
