A man who was attending a conference in Las Vegas managed to bag himself $125,000 by playing blackjack, but his luck quickly ran out. Two prostitutes reportedly robbed the money, along with a $20,000 Rolex in Caesars Palace.

Marriah Vanderwaal and Coriana Singleton allegedly “trick rolled” the inebriated man out of the cash and watch at around 4am on the morning after his big win. They are now facing burglary and grand larceny charges.

Caught in a trap

The robbery – which took place on September 21 – occurred after the man in question had played blackjack that night with some co-workers from about 8pm until 4am.

Police looked at surveillance footage of the hotel floor to try to piece together a timeline of events. The sex workers entered a black Mercedes SUV there and proceeded to drive over to Caesars Palace where they met up with a white BMW.

Identifying the suspects

Vanderwaal – who was identified by her leopard print tattoo – was seen on video taking a photo holding a bunch of cash. They identified Singleton by looking at parking garage photos and matching the 29-year-old to previous arrest photos.

The authorities were able to track their vehicles and then find them at residences in the greater area of Las Vegas, arresting the two individuals upon arrival.
