Bushi is one of the best Pals in Palworld because of its level three Lumbering ability. This makes it perfect for logging and adding to your wood reserves. Finding Bushi can be difficult though, but there are a few spots where it’s guaranteed to spawn.

Where to Find Bushi in Palworld

You can find Bushi along the beaches on the southwestern volcanic island in Palworld. You can see its exact spawn zone marked on the map above. There’s a fast travel point right on the beach and Bushi tends to appear in the vicinity of that tower. When you encounter a wild Bushi, it will likely be around level 30 so make sure you’re prepared with the right gear.

We recommend taking a team of level 30 Pals to protect yourself from the wildlife in that sector of the map. Plus, you should probably have a Musket or some sort of firearm to weaken the Bushi so you can have the best chance of capturing it. Regular Pal Spheres won’t cut it for a Pal of this caliber, so make sure you craft Mega Spheres and Giga Spheres for the occasion.

There’s also a level 23 Alpha Pal version of Bushi that you can find to the west of the starting Palworld plateau. It’s on the way to the volcanic island, so you’ll likely encounter this Alpha Bushi on the way to the normal ones. This Alpha Bushi is a lower level than the wild ones that you’d find on the volcanic island, however, so it’s your best bet if you want to get a Bushi for your base early. How to Beat Alpha Bushi in Palworld

Defeating the Alpha Bushi boss is a hassle without the right team and equipment, so make sure you’re prepared before you attempt this fight. You’ll need some decent armor, ideally Metal Armor, in order to survive its attacks. You’ll also want to have a Musket or another powerful ranged weapon in order to deal enough damage.

Your Pals will do most of the work here, however, so make sure you have a team of level 20 or so Pals for this encounter. Since Bushi is a Fire-type Pal, bring Pals that know Water-type moves. Don’t bring any Grass or Ice-type Pals since Fire is especially effective against them.

Bushi is a highly mobile Pal, so keep a close eye on it in order to dodge its attacks. Watch out for its standard fireball attack, which hits much harder than you’d think. Bring Giga Spheres so you have the best chance of capturing this boss Pal. Anything less won’t be nearly as effective.

Once you get Bushi’s health down as low as possible, you should have a great chance of capturing it with a Giga Sphere. Bushi is great for your base because of its skillset (especially if you assign it to the right task), but it’s also a great Pal for your main party since it increases items dropped from Neutral-type Pals. It’s also a great battling Pal, but you already know that from the boss fight.
