New Zealand is meeting its commitment to reducing the country’s 2013-2022 emissions by 5% compared to 1990 levels by using 6.5 million Kyoto protocol credits.
The Ministry for the Environment released two reports last week for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which include emissions accounting towards the agreed targets.
