NieR Replicant Shows Off All of Its Added Content, Including 15 Dungeons, Outfits, and a New Story

NieR Replicant isn’t just a barebones remaster. On top of obvious visual upgrades, its combat system has been overhauled to make it more fluid, its dialogue has been rerecorded, and its character models have been reworked. It’s all coming together quite nicely, but Square Enix and developer Toylogic haven’t stopped there; the revived Replicant will also boast a range of additional content.

As shown in the trailer that we’ve embedded above, the remaster will include:

  • Costumes and weapons based on NieR Automata
  • 15 additional dungeons to test your skills
  • Samurai and Kabuki outfits
  • An all-new episode titled ‘Mermaid’

As far as we can tell, these additions won’t be in the game itself. Instead, they’ll be available to download for free from the PlayStation Store.
