Jake the dog and Finn the Human are returning for one more adventure in an all-new Adventure Time special on May 20.
Adventure Time: Distant Lands — Together Again promises to bring back the loveable duo for their “biggest adventure ever.” The first teaser shows off fearsome monsters and fantastical landscapes — you know, the usual Adventure Time adventures. Together Again is the third of four Adventure Time specials premiering on HBO Max.
The first premiered last summer and focused on lovable robot BMO as they traversed space and landed on a colony populated by rabbit-people. It was followed in November by Adventure Time: Distant Lands — Obsidian, which gave a special spotlight to punk-rock vampire queen Marceline and Candy Kingdom ruler Princess Bubblegum as they navigated their centuries-long relationship.
The fourth and final special will focus on Peppermint Butler, though it has yet to receive a release date.
