It also resulted in almost $85m in tax revenue from the 439 reporting licensees. Total revenue for the year was $15.5bn, which beat the record of $14.8bn set in 2022. The majority of the gaming win came from slot machines, with sportsbook revenue reaching $59m.

The Las Vegas Strip accounted for $905m of the total and Clark County as a whole contributed almost 89% of the $1.43bn state-wide revenue figure. 2023 was a strong year for the state as visitors continued to flock to the region following significant drops during the pandemic years.
