Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has shut down Max Air’s Boeing 737 domestic operations citing a series of safety concerns – including potential fuel contamination.
Thye airline has consequently shut down its domestic operations.
The airline is claiming its fuel supplier (Octavus) supplied contaminated fuel before the suspension. The supplier is denying the claim.
The NCAA has also announced the formation of a team of inspectors to perform a complete safety audit of Max Air.
